**What you’ll do**
- Serve as a visible, professional deterrent—lead with exceptional customer service and a calm presence.
- Detect and respond to suspicious activity; prevent loss through proactive patrols and observation.
- Control access at lobbies, docks, and gates; stop tailgating/piggybacking.
- Conduct regular foot patrols and targeted checks of high-risk areas.
- Enforce the **Trespass Act (BC)**, **Criminal Code of Canada**, and site rules in line with policy.
- Respond to alarms and incidents per post orders; secure premises.
- Produce clear, timely **incident** and **daily reports** in our online systems.
- Maintain professional appearance and deportment at all times.

**What you bring**

- Customer-service mindset with confident, respectful enforcement.
- Strong situational awareness, multitasking, and problem-solving.

**Education & experience (assets)**
- Prior security experience (residential, retail, mobile, or events).
- **Advanced Security Training (AST)**, **OFA Level 1 or 2**, or similar.
- Police Foundations / Law & Security studies (completed or in progress).
- Valid **BC driver’s licence** and access to a vehicle.

**Must-haves**
- **Valid BC Security Worker Licence**:

- **AST** (asset; required for certain assignments)
- Ability to travel across **Vancouver & Burnaby**:

- Reliable, punctual, and ready to cover on-call assignments as needed

**Shifts**: Days/afternoons/nights, weekdays & weekends (rotations vary by site).
**Location**: Multiple sites across **Vancouver & Burnaby**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

- Are you available for evenings, overnights, weekends, and short-notice call-ins?
- Do you have Advanced Security Training (AST)?
- Are you able to travel across Vancouver & Burnaby to multiple client sites as scheduled?

- Security: 3 years (required)
