**New Hire Schedule**:Must be available Saturday and/or Sundays with availability to work throughout the week

**Job Summary**:
**How you will make an impact**:
You will be responsible for ensuring Patient Porter standards are being maintained.

**As a Hospital Porter, you will**:

- Run the daily operations of patient transport
- Work collaboratively with other department staff
- Transports patients to various hospital locations
- Timely transportation of patients for their appointments
- Responds to Emergency Codes as assigned or required
- Assists, lifts and positions patients to and from transport equipment
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of the patient while in transit
- If required, remains with the patient during examination/treatment procedures
- Available to work flexible hours to meet hospital’s needs
- Other duties as assigned

**About you**:

- Healthcare experience
- Respond to customer requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Capable to stoop, kneel, bend freely and lift up to 50 lbs
- Computer related skills
- Adaptability and flexibility in learning style.

Important note**:A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is a condition of employment. Proof of immunizations and Tuberculosis Screening Test results may be required.
