Manager Technology Transformation

Requisition ID: 126601 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **The Team** The Technology Transformation team is an exciting team with the mandate to design, develop, and execute the global technology strategy for the Bank. **The Role** This role will work closely with a Director or Senior Manager and additionally will have a great deal of exposure to senior executives, business line leaders and a diverse set of stakeholders to assess current capabilities, identify opportunities and design future state operating model, capabilities, and implementation roadmaps. **Some of the key accountabilities include**: **Transformation Program** - Support one or more large scale technology transformation initiatives from inception to execution working with technology teams across the Bank - Work with teams to perform business analysis to develop viable business cases including initiative cost/benefit analysis, hardware/software costs, resource forecasting, financial analysis, excel modeling and work with pivot tables **Stakeholder Management** - Present and communicate with our Technology Leadership team, including VPs and Directors on an ongoing basis to gather feedback, report progress and solve issues - Work closely with technical teams and SMEs to ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within budget forecasts and deliver value identified at inception - Work closely with non-technology teams including business lines, HR, Finance and Risk to ensure technology initiatives are meeting business needs and are integrated within the bank effectively **Collaboration** - Share knowledge and collaborate with others within the team and with other teams across the Bank to ensure effective delivery of projects **What You Will Bring to Succeed** - Undergraduate degree in business or engineering; graduate business degree/MBA is a strong asset - Background in Technology and working knowledge of various IT concepts is strongly preferred (e.g., different programing languages, agile work, cloud computing, etc.) - Experience in management consulting or corporate strategy is a strong asset - Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic business environment - Great interpersonal skills, leadership and influential capabilities - Self-motivated; work both independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams - Great presentation and written communication skills - Excellent knowledge with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint **The Workplace** - We are technology partners who help the business transform how our employees around the world work - We have an inclusive and collaborative working environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success - You'll get to work with and learn from diverse industry leaders, who have hailed from top technology companies around the world - We foster an environment of innovation and continuous learning - We care about our people, allowing them to design how they work to deliver amazing results - We offer a competitive total rewards package, including a performance bonus, company matching programs (on pension & profit sharing), and generous vacation **Scotiabank** **Is this Role not the Exact fit?** Sign up to stay in touch; we’ll let you know when we have new positions on the team. scotiatechnology Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
