**Description du poste**:
**Horaire**:
Du lundi au vendredi : de 8 h à 15 h
Des soirées et fins de semaine occasionnelles peuvent être requises durant la haute saison ou pour de grands événements de traiteur.
**Responsabilités principales**:
- Préparer des plats de haute qualité avec constance et souci du détail
- Assurer un bon contrôle des portions et des coûts alimentaires
- Maintenir une cuisine propre et bien organisée
- Participer à la gestion des opérations de cuisine et au mentorat du personnel junior
- Collaborer au développement de nouvelles recettes et aux spéciaux saisonniers
- Respecter en tout temps les normes d’hygiène et de salubrité alimentaire
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 ans d’expérience dans une cuisine à rythme rapide et à fort volume
- Excellentes compétences en préparation et en maniement des couteaux
- Bonne compréhension des coûts alimentaires, de la réduction des pertes et du contrôle des portions
- Attitude positive, esprit d’équipe et éthique de travail fiable
- Capacité à suivre les directives et à diriger au besoin
- Être légalement autorisé-e à travailler au Canada (citoyenneté canadienne ou permis de travail valide requis)

Tejano BBQ Burrito is a vibrant, fast-paced, and high-volume fast casual food concept known for bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and an energetic work environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated **Cook** to join our kitchen team and contribute to our continued growth and innovation.
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Occasional evenings and weekends may be required during peak season or for major catering events.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare high-quality food with consistency and attention to detail
- Ensure proper portioning and food cost control
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space
- Assist in managing kitchen operations and mentoring junior staff
- Collaborate on future recipe development and seasonal specials
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Excellent prep and knife skills
- Strong understanding of food costs, waste reduction, and portion control
- Positive attitude, team player, and reliable work ethic
- Ability to take direction and lead when needed
- Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or valid work permit required)
