The Bone & Biscuit Brooklin is now hiring, we are looking for a mature, pet-loving individual to join our team as a part-time sales associate

**Who we are**:
We are a family-owned and operated natural pet food store. We specialize in providing the highest quality products, customer service and education to our neighbourhood pet parents. We pride ourselves on our extensive pet health and nutrition knowledge and ability to find solutions to our client’s specific pet needs.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service and pet knowledge to new and existing clients
- Help customers by answering their questions and finding solutions to their specific needs for their pet
- Day-to-day operations of the store, including but not limited to: working the POS system, assisting customers, stocking, pricing, merchandising, opening and closing procedures, cleaning
- Continuous training and education for pet health and nutrition

**Preferred Skills**:

- Pet industry experience is a huge asset (priority will be given to those with experience)
- Knowledge and strong interest in pet nutrition, raw and natural food and supplements

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma
- Pet lover, must love dogs and cats
- Previous customer service, sales or retail experience
- Friendly, outgoing and helpful personality
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift 40lbs continuously
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Proficient in English
