**Job description**

THE POSITION - **Entry Level E-Commerce Digital Marketer**

There is a great deal of overlap in duties and responsibilities because we work in teams of at least two per area and we cover each other. This is the upside of working for a small company - you will be trained in most areas of the company operations. On the other hand, you will need to be flexible in your duties and perform a large variety of tasks daily.

The position we are hiring for will focus mainly on digital marketing and e-commerce fulfillment.

Preference will be given to someone who has worked in customer service, who has website development experience, or who has photo/video editing skills.

We are looking to hire a permanent full-time 35hrs/wk (Monday through Friday). However, we are open to someone who can only work 3-4 days per week (minimum of 6 hrs per shift).

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Perform SEO duties - updating Google listings, uploading blog articles and search words.

Ensure that products are allocated to the correct customer orders by reading packing slips, and picking and packing orders accordingly, verifying addresses and instructions.

Measuring chains and spooling them onto cards or small spools; inspect jewellery components to ensure quality and verify the correct items and quantities are included in the correct packages.

Use a computer to print shipping labels, affix them to their packages, and enter tracking information for notes.

Keep track of inventory including receiving, counting and shelving merchandise.

Early parts of each week, everyone at the company helps with pick/packing and shipping orders. Later part of each week we work on individually assigned duties. The measure in each of these depends on sales events and product flow. However, we are always busy.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Must have completed grade 12 highschool, with post-secondary an asset

Previous e-commerce or jewellery experience is a preferred asset

Ability to prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency is very important

Strong general computer skills is a must (Mac or PC)

Ability to use Google Sheets and Excel to help manage data

Strong initiative and self-driven, ability to multi-task and maintain an organized workspace

Detail-oriented and passionate about product presentation

Ability to communicate clearly in English verbally and in writing

Punctual and organized, displaying strong time-management skills

Wage: $17-$18 per hour. We pay $17/hour and $18/hr after the probationary period of 6 weeks.
