Procurement /purchasing Administrator

Our company is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement / Purchasing Administrator to join our purchasing department.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Maintain strong relationships and long-term purchasing agreements with vendors.
- Reviews and processes requests for items to be purchased ensuring requisitions meet with internal policies.
- Place orders for equipment rentals, track and ensure removal of equipment once no longer required.
- Foster close working relationships with associated departments, sales, service, and finance to ensure awareness of orders status/delivery dates.
- Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders to ensure there are no discrepancies.
- Completes computerized entry of purchase requisitions, printing and appropriate distribution of purchase orders.
- Order tracking and commercial dispute resolution.
- Expedite order process as required including: back orders, missing documentation, complaint resolution, etc.
- Maintain source library information (product listings, catalogues, pricing adjustments).
- Maintain file information on: vendors, PO files, monitor for completed orders, missing invoices, or issues, and answer telephones for the department.
- Other tasks to be assigned by management.
A successful applicant will:
- Possess effective time management skills - Have strong sense of urgency and prioritization
- Be proficient in MS Outlook, MS excel, and QuickBooks (asset)
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have strong inter-personal skills and solid organizational skills
- (Preferably) have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or other related degree
- Have +3 years purchasing experience ideally in the service sector
- Have Valid driving license/Own vehicle
- Legally be able to work in Canada
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
