John Bear Buick Chevrolet GMC Cadillac has an immediate requirement for an experienced individual to fill an **Assistant Parts Manager** role at our Hamilton dealership. The Assistant Parts Manager is responsible for helping oversee and manage the Parts Department under the guidance of the Director of Parts. The individual is experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of the operation with strong automotive knowledge, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer and employee satisfaction.

**Salary + Bonus $50,000 + per year**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with inventory control
- Shipping and receiving
- Cataloging and invoicing of parts
- Creating and controlling daily and stock orders
- Supporting Parts Advisors in servicing customers and technicians
- Assisting with staff duties and concerns
- Assisting with unpacking of parts orders
- Stocking locations / stock shelves
- Maintaining a tidy and organized parts area

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant parts experience within automotive retail
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and coach
