We are seeking a dynamic Food Services Supervisor to lead our dietary team and enhance the overall quality of life for our residents.

**Position Overview**:
The Support Services Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of all dietary services within our long-term care home. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating services that enhance resident care and facility efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead the dietary team, including cooks and dietary aides.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and facility policies.
- Collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
- Placing purchase orders in accordance with approved menus and prescribed ordering schedules.
- Receiving stock and deliveries and reviewing shipping slips and invoices.
- Conduct training and development programs for support services staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a recognized culinary program or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within food service, healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
