The Product Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering all necessary training material for heavy haul trailers that will support our retail dealerships in Canada. This role will be the product specialist and trainer for, operation, servicing, and sales features for salesman and applicable Dealer personnel. This role will be responsible for training new and existing retail Salesmen on how to sell the Brandt advantage of heavy haul trailers and train on the proper operation of trailers. This role will be fully engaged with key large volume customers and gov’t agencies to capture changing regulations while feeding back to engineering customer experiences to improve future products. The Product Specialist would work with Engineering on the final testing of new products before final release to dealers. This role will be responsible for

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Fully train retail salesmen on selling the Brandt trailer features and benefits
- Capable of doing a first class walkaround outlining Brandt’s competitive advantages
- Assists the local dealer on sales presentations for key customers and is lead on direct accounts
- Responsible for field follow of trailers when necessary
- Delivers operational training to key customers until local Branch is able to do effectively
- First contact for Retail Salesmen (and key customers) for technical sales support with the support of engineering

**Required Skills**:

- Knowledge of trucking industry through operating heavy haul with a strong mechanical background
- Ability to train Salesmen and key customers
- The ability to perform to the highest degree energy with mínimal supervision
- Ability to travel 60% of time across North America
