- **Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (KI) is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of Nunavik.**_
**FUNCTION & DUTIES**:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Adult Education and Vocational Training, the Education Consultation is responsible for the organization of training activities in Nunavik and handles the various files assigned.
- Provide pedagogical support to teachers across numerous programs.
- Support teachers with respect to course management, pedagogical strategies, module planning, evaluation tools and techniques, and provide them with the necessary materials.
- Plan and supervise internships in the workplace.
- Organize training activities for teachers.
- Conduct research and stay up to date on news related to vocational training.
- Collaborate on the implementation of concomitant essential knowledge.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the immediate superior.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, in particular education or adult education.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Must be fluent in at least two (2) of the three (3) working languages of the Board (Inuktitut, English or French).
- At least five (5) years vocational training experience.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills in French and English, and knowledge of the MEQ's approach to vocational training programs.
- Northern experience is considered an asset.
**CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS**:
In accordance with the SPPENOM collective agreement for professionals. This position belongs to job category 2104: from $49,456 to $92,027 annually depending on qualification and experience. All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task.
