Care Gateway Medical Clinics supports patients with a full range of medical care. We work with partners outside the clinic to provide a wide variety of wraparound services to people experiencing addiction. Our clinics also provide services in women and children’s health, youth mental health, learning disabilities, smoking cessation, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Hepatitis C management, HIV PREP; and we have full on-site pharmacy services. Care Gateway operates locations in both Wetaskiwin and Red Deer.

We are currently recruiting for positions of Clinic Manager, Nurse Practitioner, and Physician and will soon be adding more roles, so please check back with us if you are excited to join our team.

**PLEASE NOTE - The Medical Clinic Manager role will serve both clinics with a negotiable preferred time split of 0.3 to 0.5 full time equivalent (FTE) at each site.**

The Clinic Manager role will provide the challenge you’re looking for in your work. As an experienced clinic manager in a rapidly growing clinic, you will be using your strengths in:

- Human Resource Management - recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, contracting, day-to-day staff management, and payroll
- Medical Record Keeping - chart review, communication liaison, engagement of providers and referrals,
- Relationships - interaction with a multidisciplinary team: physicians, nurses, pharmacists and technicians, patients, social workers, and counselors; as well as managing relationships with community partner organizations,
- Patient Care - a portion of the FTE can be allocated to clinical work should you be licensed in a profession that requires ongoing clinical experience.
- strong initiative and critical thinking for active problem solving,
- previous experience in healthcare clinic management,
- experience in collaboration with partners,
- robust skill with common computing technology,
- a strong sense of empathy and compassion.

Schedule: 0.6-1.0 FTE, M-F(negotiable)

**Salary**: $50,000 to $75,000 per year (depending on experience)

Benefits: Drug coverage and medical benefits package included

Location: Red Deer and Wetaskiwin, AB
