**Overview**

**Duties**:

- Assist customers in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses that best suit their needs and preferences.
- Interpret and verify prescriptions from eye care professionals to ensure accurate fitting of eyewear.
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance, including lens options and coatings.
- Perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear to ensure optimal fit and comfort.
- Maintain an organized display of optical products, ensuring inventory is stocked and visually appealing.
- Utilize optical equipment for measurements and fittings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Process sales transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service throughout the purchasing experience.
- Collaborate with eye care professionals to facilitate patient care and follow-up appointments as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in optical sales or retail management is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye care is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using optical equipment and understanding laboratory processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Epic software or similar systems is advantageous but not required.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and building lasting relationships with patients.
