Warehouse/shipping Associate

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse, ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and supporting our e-commerce operations.
**Duties**
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling them appropriately.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order picking processes.
- Load and unload products using forklifts or reach trucks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized warehouse environment.
- Assist in the implementation of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes to optimize inventory management.
- Support e-commerce operations by processing online orders efficiently.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory management tasks.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and packing.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and reach trucks is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
