**The Cartier Arms is looking for experienced Bartenders and Servers to join out team. **We are a multifaceted food and Beverage operation within the Hyatt Centric hotel, which is located in the Old Montreal neighbourhood, close to Champ-de-Mars metro.
**Schedule**:Days (**starting at 6:30am**), Evenings, Nights (**closing at 2am**), Weekends
**Responsibilities**:
- Understands the operational set up and principle of the restaurant and bar
- Assist and support Bartenders and Wait staff.
- Takes drink orders through servers or directly from guests
- Clean and restock stations
- Keep all dining areas clean and presentable
- Ensures consistent beverage preparation, presentation, and quality according to recipes
- Manage a bar's cash flow.
- Open and close the bar.
- May be responsible for ordering and taking inventory
**Requirements**:
- Must be bilingual (English and French)
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take direction and work as a team
- Experience in the service industry at a similar establishment is a plus.
- Physical requirements: standing, walking, reaching, lifting and bending
**Pay and benefits**:

**Le Cartier Arms est à la recherche de barmans et de serveurs expérimentés pour rejoindre notre équipe.** Nous sommes un établissement de restauration à multiples facettes au sein de l'hôtel Hyatt Centric, situé dans le quartier du Vieux-Montréal, à proximité du métro Champ-de-Mars.
**Horaire**: Jours (à partir de 6h30), soirs, nuits (fermeture à 2h), week-ends
**Responsabilités**:
- Comprendre l'organisation opérationnelle et les principes du restaurant et du bar.
- Assister et soutenir les barmans et le personnel de service.
- Prendre les commandes de boissons par l'intermédiaire des serveurs ou directement auprès des clients.
- Nettoyer et réapprovisionner les postes
- Garder toutes les zones de restauration propres et présentables.
- Veiller à la préparation, à la présentation et à la qualité des boissons conformément aux recettes.
- Gérer la trésorerie du bar.
- Ouvrir et fermer le bar.
- Peut être responsable des commandes et de l'inventaire.
**Exigences**:
- Être bilingue (anglais et français)
- Attitude positive
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles
- Capacité à prendre des directives et à travailler en équipe
- Une expérience dans l'industrie du service dans un établissement similaire est un atout.
- Exigences physiques : se tenir debout, marcher, atteindre, soulever et se pencher.
**Rémunération et avantages**:
- Salaire horaire compétitif et pourboires (moyenne de 16 à 25 dollars de l'heure - pourboires inclus)
