Automotive Estimator

We are looking for an Assistant **Estimator** for our Bowmanville location, experience preferred but not necessary. We are looking for some one who either has the ability or is willing to learn to
- Prepare and submit work order estimates
- Work closely with insurance companies to submit each estimate and amend as required
- Orders parts from suppliers; expedites as needed
- Maintains strong, positive relationships internally and externally
- Uses systems extensively to prepare each estimate, source & order parts, and update status
- Fills in as needed when team members are away at various locations
- Works closely with the other managers to share resources and ensure that customer commitments are met
- Participates in training as required

**Post-secondary education is considered to be an asset**

Strong work ethic; self-driven to get the job done well with a positive attitude
- Automotive estimating experience is considered to be an asset
- Excellent communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong desire to learn and improve
- Willingness to pitch in to help the team succeed
- Valid driver’s licence

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
