**Job Description**:
We are seeking a full-time **Monday-Friday, night shift driver, starting at 5:00pm.** As an AZ Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our recycling facilities. Your expertise in operating commercial vehicles, adherence to traffic regulations, and commitment to safety will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of our operations. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate an AZ-class commercial vehicle to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Safely load and unload metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Perform manual tarping if necessary
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
- Report any mechanical issues or damages to the maintenance department for timely repairs
- Complete accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation
- Ensure all paperwork is properly completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries, interacting with customers and handling inquiries or concerns in a polite and helpful manner
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow safe work practices at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules, report any issues or delays, and maintain efficient communication channels

**Qualifications**:

- Must be physically fit to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
- Valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
- Experience driving 18 speed, manual transmission is required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ Driver, preferably in a transportation or logistics setting
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and traffic laws
- Familiarity with secure loading and unloading procedures,
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete required paperwork
- Excellent driving skills and ability to navigate various road and traffic conditions
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and practices
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required
- Dependable, punctual, and able to meet delivery schedules
- Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset
