**St. Louis Bar & Grill **is hiring **Bartenders** to join our team at our Guelph, ON location.

**Bartender **responsibilities include:

- Setting up the bar for each shift
- Interacting with customers and managing traffic in the bar area
- Taking drink and food orders
- Restocking all inventory items on the shelf, in the cooler, and in the refrigerator
- Removing and cleaning from time to time
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized bar area that is ready for each customer’s arrival
- Complying with all health and safety regulations, including wearing a mask when needed
- Performing opening and closing procedures on the bar equipment
- Maintaining a clean work environment, including all bottles, glasses, utensils, etc.
- Providing excellent customer service by being attentive, friendly, and helpful
- Assisting other staff members as needed

Qualifications:

- A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk up stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of how to use basic bar equipment (i.e. ice cream maker, mixer jar, juicer)
- Knowledge of how to make basic drinks (i.e. margaritas)
- Food Handlers Certificate (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
