**Audi Downtown Vancouver** is currently looking to fill the position of **Service Technician.**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform repair.
- Communicate with the Parts Department to secure required parts.
- Save and tag parts requested by customer or manufacturer.
- Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service repairs.
- Notify Service Advisor immediately if further work is necessary, if work outlined is not needed, or repairs cannot be completed within the allotted timeframe.
- Document in detail the cause and corrective repairs performed.
- Perform wheel alignments and adjustments as required.
- Road-test vehicles to quality check work performed.
- Responsible for practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice or Technician.
- Complete web training and attend factory-sponsored training sessions.
- Maintain a neat and orderly workshop and workbay.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
- Comply with required health & safety regulations.
- Additional duties as requested by manager.

**All successful applicants must possess the following qualities**:

- Be extremely organized.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Automotive Technician/Diagnostic Technician experience with Audi brand.
- Minimum 2 years of experience directly with Audi brand vehicles.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
