**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling equipment to minimize risks.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Float equipment to job sites
- Early morning start

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. This position is crucial for maintaining our operational efficiency, ensuring that goods are delivered on time while upholding our commitment to safety and quality service.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
