We are looking for a Class 1 Flat Deck Truck driver to join the Sutco Transportation team in Langley BC. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct pre and post and trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, road worthiness and regulatory compliance.
- Operate Super-B or Quad flat deck truck & trailer to deliver freight including but not limited to lumber, construction materials etc., to destinations in Canada and the United States.
- Ensure safe transportation of freight by securing goods whilst loading and unloading.
- Tarp loads as requested
- Chain-up vehicle based on road conditions.
- Plan your driving routes using maps or GPS tracking.
- Manage your time responsibly to reach the destination by the predetermined time.
- Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
- Complete all electronic records regarding working hours, vehicle status and maintenance records using the industry's best fleet management system, ISAAC.
- Remain compliant with Federal Hours of Service regulations
- Ensure trucks are left clean and safe at the end of each shift.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**:
As a member of the Sutco Transportation team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

- Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- 2 years of trucking experience preferred
- Mountain driving and Super-B experience preferred
- Experience securing and tarping flat deck loads
- A desire to maximize their hours, miles and income.
- Ability to enter the US for work purposes preferred.
