Cylinder Filler and Loader

Western Gasco Cylinders Ltd is the largest locally owned and operated welding and compressed gas supplier in BC. We are seeking a self-motivated person to work as a **Cylinder Filler and Loader**. You will be working in a brand new facility using new and modern equipment. You must be fluent in English (written & spoken), professional and personable, with good communication and written skills, and able to work independently. The position is full time, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
- Responsible for filling compressed gas cylinders in a safe and professional manner.
- Load and unload compressed gas cylinders from trucks using a forklift.
- Preparing cylinder shipments for scheduled deliveries.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:
- Filling compressed gas in a safe and professional manner
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Move assets/stock using a Forklift
- Stocking and organizing cylinders
- Preparing cylinder pallets for delivery trucks
- Placing gas orders with supplier
- Shipping and receiving as required
- Promote safety and all other company policies at all times
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to routinely lift/move 25 to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to operate forklift.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to operate in a drug and alcohol free workplace.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Forklift, WHMIS, and TDG certification required.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience.
Pay: $21.00-$28.50 per hour
