Better Way Lighting is a fast-growing company servicing the film & television industry. We're a fun, innovative, hard-working group searching for smart, eager electronics enthusiasts to join our team. We design, manufacture, rent and sell high end LED components to some of the largest film productions in the world. We are also busy designing the next generation of lighting control products. We are uncompromising in working to build the best devices in the industry and have a lot of fun doing it.

Currently we have one position open for an LED Technician who can eventually move into a role as Client Service Representative. The position is junior-intermediate; however, and just as important, we want people with positive attitudes and a commitment to excellence in their work. We are a young company and are growing quickly. As such, there are opportunities for career growth and we prefer to promote within.

We are looking for people who are passionate about technology. You are expected to be comfortable with basic electricity, but you will be given proper training and be shown our systems and protocols.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Testing, cleaning and servicing returned rental orders
- Assembly of professional film lighting equipment
- Upkeep of workshop and equipment
- Preparing and testing orders for clients
- Installing lighting equipment for commercials and events
- Inventory management and asset allocation
- Communicating with clients and sales team to provide best tools and services possible

**Opportunities to learn/develop skills**:

- CAD
- Circuit design
- Welding

We are located just off the Central Valley Greenway (a 10-minute walk from Holdom Skytrain Station) in Burnaby.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
