Responsibilities:

- Prepare the daily night audit proceedings and system back-ups
- Audit, balance and report on all cash and credit operations to include but not limited to checks, over/short figures, deposits, counts, house charges, postings, etc. and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely information.
- Audit, balance, post and report on the front desk to include but not limited to; room charges, zero balance folios, corrections, adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over/short figures, deposits to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Ensure any discrepancies are reported and brought to the attention of the Director of Finance.
- Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for preparation of daily reports.
- Balance and close all bank ticket codes, daily.
- Assist in taking and placing wake-up calls, as needed.
- Perform the duties of Guest Service Agent including check in/check out.
- Perform the duties of Bell/Door/Valet.
- Have thorough knowledge of emergency and front office procedures.
- Ensure the safety and well being of guests and staff during the overnight period.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Previous Front Office / Hotel experience a strong asset
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
- Must be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Software, knowledge of Opera is an asset
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
