**OVERVIEW**

The Porter will be hotel staff with carrier duties as assigned by the floor manager to ensure a fast and timely service for both internal and external customers at Parq Vancouver.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Primarily delivering supplies and luggages throughout the second floor of the casino and Salons
- Assisting servers with clearing tables and maintaining a clean and tidy environment for guests
- Ensure the Porter station is stocked, cleaned and organized
- Operate in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Responsible for providing professional and superior customer service in accordance with established company standards
- Greet all guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Perform other job-related duties, as directed by management

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Ability to get along well with others in a team environment
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 LBS
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Committed to promoting a safe work environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Proven superior customer service experience
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs of a casino environment
- Friendly, outgoing and professional
- Has a respectful approach and pleasant demeanor
- Previous experience in a similar role

**CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS**
- Serving it Right Certification - training will be provided
- Food Safe Certificate - training will be provided

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.65-$17.00 per hour

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
