- Provides expertise, guidance, and support to the shared MEDITECH HIS nd ERP support to system users at QCH and externally for members of the regional CHAMP program
- Develops and documents functional system requirements and specificiations, as well as reviewing vendor to ensure a fit with the Hospital and industry requirements
- Lead and manage medium to large projects (project teams of 1 to 25 people) internally at QCH and/or with regional membership, including defining scope, preparing plans, testing coordination, and monitoring of project timelines
- Responsible for developing and maintaining Meditech HIS regional procedures, standards, and documentation to ensure the integrity of the shared CHAMP Meditech HIS
- Support the database architecture and operating systems after hours for the local QCH and regional CHAMP program end-user community
- Execute and participate towards the maintenance, support and improvement of systems, including the management of the information infrastructure such as system parameters, the archiving of data, shared Meditech dictionaries, database integrity, development of policies and procedures for dictionary maintenace, conversions, and updates
- Demonstrate QCH values: collaboration, accountability, innovation, and respect
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Post-secondary education or nine (9) years of Information Systems related commensurate experience in lieu of formal edcuation
- Requires at leave (5) years experience in systems support, business and systems analysis, and management of small projects
- Demonstrated success in building, implementing, and supporting a Hospital Information System (HIS) - Electronic Patient Record (EPR)
- Experience with various programming languages
- Requires sound oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks with multiple clients under tight deadlines.
- Solid knowledge of hospital process and systems

- Experience with Numara TrackIt
