JOB OVERVIEW

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Maintain and develop internal financial models to provide summaries, forecasts and analyses to senior management
- Contribute to the preparation of materials, including but not limited to monthly, and quarterly reports
- Participate in corporate finance initiatives, such as preparation of recurring monthly and quarterly analyses, financial modelling efforts and ad-hoc requests
- Participate in M&A deal execution, conducting financial due diligence, valuation analyses, and building deal materials for presentation to key internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with functional groups across the organization to gather information and internal insights on prospective acquisition targets
- Assist with analysis and preparation of KPIs for management reporting
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, documentation, presentations and initiatives as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Undergraduate degree in business/finance/accounting
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience in corporate finance, the wealth management or asset management industry
- Fluent in finance and accounting concepts and financial modelling, with an understanding of economic factors affecting valuation
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance and capital markets
- Ability to create, update, and manage financial models and value companies independently and communicate findings clearly and concisely
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic, ability to learn and work independently as well as part of a team
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office products. Experience with Excel Macros and VBA coding an asset
- Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal and functions an asset
