CRH Canada is currently hiring an **Equipment Superintendent - Materials** to oversee our our Dufferin Concrete & Dufferin Aggregates Operations across the GTA.

As the **Equipment Superintendent - Materials**, reporting to the Equipment Manager - Construction, your primary responsible will be to oversee Heavy Mobile Equipment Management Program in the Ontario Materials. Your dedication to leadership and sound technical knowledge in the field of Mobile Equipment asset management, equipment maintenance and repairs is vital for the success of this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee mobile equipment servicing Ontario Materials Locations - aggregate sites and plants.
- Collaborate with Operation Teams to ensure equipment uptime and availability
- Develop and manage equipment R&M Program
- Ensure Equipment KPIs are in line with targets and goals.
- Develop a Mechanic Labour Team
- Engage & participate in Weekly Equipment Meetings with Operation Teams
- Participate in Regional Performance Committee (RPC) Meetings and execute RPC Initiatives.
- Lead, engage & roll out of specific equipment initiatives in collaboration with Operation Managers.
- Maintaining equipment uptime, managing equipment schedule and utilization.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Equipment Maintenance & Repairs
- Equipment Background - Experienced Shop Supervisor and Equipment Technical Knowledge
- Experience working with Quarry and Civil - heavy equipment fleet.
- Experience working with key equipment vendors and suppliers.
- Strong Leadership skills effectively managing and motivating teams.
- Ability to build relationships, guide collaboration, and provide exceptional training through the support of Superintendents & Foreman.
- Excellent organizational, planning skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Customer focused & adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
