**Quality Control Technician**
- Coordinate with warehouse, manufacturing, productions and R&D for production and incoming work flow for QC functions. Report to QA/QC Manager for quality issues.
- Inspect, sample and test raw materials, components, bulk and finished products for OTC products, NHP’s and Cosmetics.
- Ability to utilize laboratory analysis skills i.e. titration, refractive index, specific gravity, melting point, microbial testing and chromatography.
- Perform and Coordinate water testing.
- Perform line clearance, inspections, in-process checks for dispensing, manufacturing filling and packaging.
- Verify test results against specifications and promptly alert management of quality issues.
- Review vendor COA’s to ensure specifications are met.
- Prepare COA’s and inspection reports for incoming raw materials, packaging components, manufactured bulk and finished products.
- Perform other QC functions according to Inter Cosmetiques quality standards:

- Temperature and Environmental Monitoring i.e microbial air quality sampling and equipment swabbing
- Sample Retention Management, setting up QC standards, line standards and related specifications
- Stability testing on finished products for OTC, HNP and Cosmetics.
- Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and apparatus. Maintain housekeeping such as supplies, ordering, documentation and batch record filling.
- Support QA compliance functions for complying to related regulatory GMP standards:

- Assisting in the revision and development of SOP’s, test methods and specifications.
- Manage Out-of-Specification Investigations and deviations.
- Participate in Change Control requests, execution and closure.
- Executing Validation studies or laboratory experiments as required
- Conducting monthly safety and QA/QC housekeeping audits.

**Qualifications**:

- College or University Degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
- One year relevant experience in quality control, quality assurance, product development or a proven track record within pharmaceutical, NHP or Cosmetic industry.
- Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Good working knowledge of SOP’s and GMP’s applicable to quality operations and manufacturing.
- Understanding of Manufacturing and equipment processes.
- Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills.
- A strong Team player and able to communicate with various levels within the organization.
- Knowledge Good Laboratory Practices, chemistry techniques, terminology, equipment and QC testing procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
