Marketing Summer Student

**Purpose**:
The Summer Student will provide support to our Marketing team. They will play an essential role in supporting day-to-day operations of Sterling Karamar Property Management’s business, and will provide effective vendor, customer, and management relations.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
**Marketing Administration**:
- Ensure all incoming requests are entered in Tasks by Planner for the team to complete.
- Review online advertising to ensure pricing is reflective of the weekly availability reports.
- Ensure the accuracy of market rents displayed on the website.
- Update leasing contact information for sites as necessary.
- Assist with completing the monthly marketing meetings report.
- Coordinating site photography and virtual tours for various properties.
- Monitor, organize and distribute all marketing materials as needed to the sites (referral cards, guest registration cards, floor plans, etc.)
- Assist with tenant promotional events (food drives, coffee mornings, resident appreciation barbeques, cocktail parties, etc.)
**Scope**:
- Report to the Marketing Team Lead.
- Work in close cooperation with the Marketing and Leasing team.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Minimum: High School Degree.
**Experience**:
- 1 years’ experience in an administrative position within the service industry.
- Preference: experience in Marketing.
- Experience with Google Analytics & SEM would be an asset.
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Support our values: honesty, integrity, respect and trust.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
- Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of multiple social media platforms.
- Experience or working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites.
- Strong proofreading skills.
Must be fluent in English speaking and writing
