**Swim/Aquatic Instructors - WD Swim Markham**

**About WD Swim**
WD Swim is a dynamic and growing swim school dedicated to delivering high-quality aquatic instruction in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. We're looking for enthusiastic and committed Swim/Aquatic Instructors to become part of our team and help make a positive impact in our community.

**Role Overview**
As a Swim/Aquatic Instructor, you'll lead fun, safe, and effective swimming lessons tailored to a range of ages and skill levels. You'll be responsible for creating a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct engaging swim classes for groups of up to 5 students
- Adapt lessons to suit different age groups and abilities
- Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere for all swimmers
- Monitor and ensure safety during all swim sessions, responding appropriately in emergencies
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, participants, and colleagues

**What We’re Looking For**
- Friendly, energetic, and passionate about swimming and teaching
- Previous experience in aquatic instruction is an asset—but not required; training is available
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability, particularly weekday evenings and weekends
- Legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)

**Schedule**
- Weekday evenings (Monday-Friday)
- Full-day availability on weekends
- Flexible scheduling - take on shifts that fit your availability

**Job Type**
- Part-time: Less than 20 hours/week
- Full-time: More than 20 hours/week
