As a Custodian, you’ll be maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility, ensuring a safe and organized environment for all. Your role is essential in supporting day-to-day operations by keeping workspaces clean and functional, while also managing waste, supplies and maintaining safety standards.

**More about your responsibilities**:

- Collecting garbage from all departments, including skid wrap, bands, and ink tubes, and dumping it into the compactor.
- Cleaning sinks and replenishing washroom, plant supplies, and PPE in all areas.
- Removing cafeteria garbage, maintaining the smoking area, and emptying butt containers.
- Ensuring overall cleanliness of the plant, such as managing the perimeter insect/rodent line, dust control, and keeping common areas and aisleways clean.
- Operating the floor scrubber to clean main aisleways.
- Maintaining and replacing departmental yellow lines throughout the plant using tape or paint.
- Manage recyclables from the office and cafeteria.
- Properly disposing of all aerosol cans.
- Clearing snow from common areas and spreading ice melt during winter weather.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Ensure that all requirements of the JPI Quality management System are followed.
- Ensure all applicable Health & Safety management System policies and procedures and Environmental (ISO 14001) management System policies and procedures are followed.

- High School Diploma.
- Previous custodial experience within a manufacturing facility is preferred.
