Fast-paced **full-service creative design agency** looking for an experienced graphic designer with production experience to join our family of misfits, ONSITE in our studio located in Waterloo.
What is an experienced graphic designer with production experience? Basically, a full-versed, graphic designer who is capable of working with a team of other designers, often independently or under the direction of the creative director, copywriter or client, to help produce a variety of materials from website layouts, eNewsletters, social posts and video storyboards to brand materials, graphic designs, illustrations, icons, documents, wicked awesome powerpoints / presentations, and more. There is never a dull moment - **you would only be limited by your willingness to learn.**
We are a high volume full service design agency that focuses on technology brands. We love tech, we get tech, but we speak human. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and ability to meet tight deadlines - HOWEVER - we provide a family first environment. Work generally stops by 5:30pm and we don’t work on weekends (unless absolutely, positively unavoidable - but with big returns). We are passionate in what we do and the clients we serve. We provide a great, positive, family friendly environment with occasional bursts of loud music and general hilarity. MUST LOVE STARBUCKS AND SUSHI (but not necessarily at the same time although )
We are looking for an experienced graphic artist who is capable of cranking out design work that is brand-led, while also spearheading your own creative projects as well. You MUST be local, tech savvy (an expert in working the web, understanding social, and being active in the digital know how). We are a Mac environment and work with the full Adobe and Google suite of products, while occasionally (often) being required to delve into the dark side and use Microsoft suite. You need to like people, understand people, and have patience working with people (mainly customers).
So if you are the best graphic designer in town who provides nothing less than award winning work then please move on. We aren’t looking for perfection - we are looking for a hardworking team player with no ego and high levels of humility (and ideally 3+ years of experience ).
Pay scale will be reflective of experience.
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
