**Sanitation Associate**

We are a small and passionate team, looking for the right people to support our rapid growth, and we currently have an opening for a Full-Time Sanitation Associate (Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) to join us at our production facility in Port Coquitlam.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform routine sanitation duties on all used equipment, utensils and facility.
- Perform additional sanitation duties as assigned.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, worker safety, company, and regulatory regulations while working.
- Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure when cleaning to meet or exceed cleanliness and hygiene standards at TMRW Foods.
- Store all equipment and utensils in the proper location after cleaning.
- Collect, segregate, remove and dispose wastes in the respective external waste containers.
- Regularly report inventory level of chemical and cleaning utensils.
- Reports any potential hazard.
- Other assigned duties.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- A passion for all things plant-based and a personal alignment with our purpose is considered a serious asset.
- Capable of working on your feet for long periods of time.
- Previous experience in cleaning a commercial kitchen and/or food manufacturing facility.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to upholding quality standards.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Knowledge of WHMIS is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2M8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
