As we continue to expand our instructor-led training team, **Worksite Safety Compliance Centre **is looking to add another Instructor, specifically for the delivery of our CPO-approved Working at Heights program. If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety instructor who is passionate about construction safety education and keeping workers safe, this role is for you
As a Health & Safety Instructor your **key responsibilities** are:
- Delivering engaging and informative Working at Heights training to job seekers, the general public and new and current members of the construction industry
- Evaluating participants through practical skills and written evaluation
- Organizing, filing and submitting digital and hard copy participant records following training
- Participating in team meetings and instructor development workshops
- 3+ years experience delivering training
- Background in construction management and/or occupational health & safety preferred
- Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training
- Self-starter who is able to work independently, while also contributing to a team
- Strong presentation and adult-engagement skills
- Valid Ontario’s Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work
- Able to legally work in Canada
