**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the patient’s living space to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and report any concerns or changes in health status to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Support patients with mobility challenges by assisting them in moving safely around their home or facility.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration and basic patient care techniques is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team are required.
- A background in caregiving or nursing is advantageous but not mandatory for applicants willing to learn.
