**Position Overview**

The **Parts Assistant** will play a key role in supporting our service team by managing and organizing marine parts, identifying and ordering components, and ensuring timely inventory control. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and a general understanding of mechanical and marine parts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify, source, and order marine parts using **part numbers, diagrams, and catalogs.**:

- Maintain accurate **inventory records and stock levels.**:

- Assist technicians with locating and preparing required parts for ongoing jobs.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage data entry and updates in our inventory management system.
- Keep the parts area organized, clean, and efficient.

**Qualifications**
- Familiarity with **marine or mechanical parts identification** and numbering systems.
- Strong **computer and data entry skills** (inventory software, spreadsheets, online catalogs).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a **fast-paced, team-oriented** environment.
- Previous experience in a marine, mechanical, or automotive parts role is an asset.
