Production Spray Painter

We are looking for a skilled spray painter to join our production team. As a spray painter, you will be responsible for cleaning, filling, smoothing, and preparing each product's surface, mixing the industrial coating liquids, and spraying each layer according to specifications.
To ensure success as a spray painter, you should have excellent hand-eye coordination, good knowledge of paint spraying techniques, and strong attention to detail.
Spray Painter Responsibilities:

- Reports and receive instructions from the area supervisor/manager.
- Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed.
- Selecting and mixing the required coating liquids.
- Selecting and attaching the correct spray nozzle to create the desired spray pattern.
- Spraying company products using industry techniques.
- Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, spray guns and other spraying equipment after each spray job.
- Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried.

Spray Painter Requirements:

- Experience working as a spray painter in a production shop.
- Experience working in industrial spray painting and/or cabinet refinishing industry an asset.
- Experience with spray painting equipment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques.
- Experience with breathing masks and protective clothing.
- Ability to stand for long periods.

**Salary**: $22.00-$27.50 per hour
