**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Safely operate vehicles to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as required.
- Tarping & Untarping loads
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices is a plus.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roadways.
- Ability to handle freight safely, ensuring proper loading techniques are followed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- A commitment to safety standards and practices in all driving activities.
