**Job description**

**Job Purpose**

Responsible for overall store operations ensuring product is delivered in a timely fashion. Meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively.
- Opening and closing the store, including cleaning and tidying up merchandise and counter areas
- Recruiting and training of new employees
- Managing and monitoring sales
- Ensuring paperwork is completed on a daily basis
- Maintain accounts receivables to company standards
- Training staff members in store theft prevention protocols
- Mentoring Assistant Store Manager, Customer Service Representatives and Company Drivers
- Creating promotions for the store including merchandising products
- Ensure marketing strategies are implemented
- Identify risks in the business
- Ensure employees are complying with company policies
- Look for growth opportunities within the branch
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Manage staff, aiding them in goal settings
- Ensure a safe working environment

**Qualifications**
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- A drive to reach sales and service goals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer skills

**Working Conditions**
- Exposure to contaminants such as exhaust and paint fumes
- Potentially dealing with sound levels or noise levels which may be distracting
- Position requires lifting and loading boxes up to 50 lbs
- Potential for standing for long periods of time
- Uniform policy is in effect
- Expectation to show up to work in proper attire eg. jeans are permitted but they must be clean and not ripped in any way.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Catharines, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- management: 2 years (preferred)
