**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

The shop coordinator is responsible for assisting with equipment load list and hotshots. Ensures the shop work is completed in an effective and timely manner, while maintaining a high level of safety and upholding company goals.
- Coordinate routine maintenance in the shop on equipment and vehicles.
- Create and maintain comprehensive Maintenance documentation and reports as needed.
- Communicate with supervisors and project managers in assisting with equipment load lists and hotshots.
- Maintain and stock inventory using company system.
- Full presence in shop for equipment readiness and deliveries.
- Full priority on vehicle of equipment preparation of last-minute load packing, inventory, pick up etc.
- Inspect and identify equipment in need of repair such as oil changes.
- Plan repair work using equipment vehicle manuals as needed.
- Orders supplies and materials with required approvals for repairs and maintenance.
- Insurance, registration, and inspection requirements - updates and tracks for the company fleet of trucks and trailers.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Completion of post-secondary education in Mechanical, Procurement, and related discipline.
- 3+ years of previous Shop Coordination experience.
- Proven work experience as a Shop Coordinator or similar role.
- An ability to maintain equipment with mechanical knowledge.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Strong teamwork skills and time management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project), and any maintenance software.
- Experience with housekeeping duties.
