National Business Manager, Amazon - Household & eCommerce Development

Overview:
As National Business Manager, you will be responsible for the management and execution of business strategies with Amazon Canada to deliver Church & Dwight Canada’s category and brand objectives, while achieving customer revenue & profit targets as assigned. You will directly lead Church & Dwight’s Amazon.ca relationship on Household & Pets brands and collaborate cross functionally on the future strategic direction with this customer, including key negotiations and business plans for the Pets category. You will additionally partner internally and externally as required on strategic eCommerce capabilities development initiatives.

This role will be responsible to do the following:

- Develop and implement annual business plans to achieve sales, share, and profit goals as well as priorities consistent with C&D brand, eCommerce, and corporate strategies
- Build cross-functional working relationship with Amazon to ensure best in class partnership for assigned categories. Lead development and execution of joint business plans, annual negotiations, and strategic partnerships relative to assigned categories
- Conduct regularly scheduled category business reviews with customers to ensure alignment and support for the implementation of initiatives, including innovation, digital shelf, promotional planning, supply chain process improvements, and more
- Work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders and functions to identify, develop, and execute strategic plans
- Responsible for financial & demand forecasting management, including trade spend, revenue growth targets, shipments, deductions, post audits, and disputes. Accountable for meeting forecast accuracy objectives
- Support Church & Dwight Digital Marketing strategies in collaboration with Marketing
- Negotiate retail media programs and support the execution of shopper marketing initiatives
- Drive eCommerce capabilities enhancements including new tools and best practices in alignment with the Church & Dwight eCommerce Development Strategy
- Collaborate with International Church & Dwight partners on eCommerce best practice sharing, opportunities, and common work streams
- Act as a leader internally on the sharing and development of eCommerce knowledge, best practices, and overall integration of e-business at Church & Dwight

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Must have a minimum 3-5 years of CPG sales experience, preferably with a National retailer
- eCommerce experience is a significant asset
- Position requires individual to have a thorough understanding of business financials and solid presentation experience to executive level personnel internally & externally
- Strong strategic negotiation skills and influence-based selling skills
- Solid communication and presentation skills (JBP experience is preferred)
- Proven ability to transform insights and data into actionable, customer-relevant plans
- Vendor Central experience is an asset
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and syndicated POS data
