10 Speed and 18 speed transmission trucks. Must have recent experience shifting.

We are looking for a dependable and professional Class 1 Truck Driver to operate a 10 speed single axle semi with a 26ft trailer equipped with a Moffett forklift for deliveries throughout the Calgary metropolitan area. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, load securement, and the ability to safely navigate congested urban areas, active construction sites, and residential neighbourhoods.

Must be able to operate an 18 OR 10 speed manual transmission, we do not have an automatic truck.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a single axle semi with a 26ft trailer and Moffett forklift to deliver building materials or related products
- Load and unload deliveries at various customer locations including tight urban zones, construction sites, and residential addresses
- Secure loads properly and ensure safe transport according to regulations and company standards
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and forklift
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Provide courteous and professional customer service on every delivery
- Adhere to safety protocols and provincial traffic regulations at all times
- Keep vehicle in clean and orderly condition at all times
- Grease and lube equipment weekly
- Wash truck when needed to maintain a professional appearance.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
- Proven experience operating a manual transmission
- Experience with Moffett forklifts
- Strong skills in load securement and safe handling of freight
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Must be reliable, punctual, and respectful in all interactions

**Job Details**:
Hours: Day shifts, 40-60 hours/week depending on delivery volume

Pay: $25-$30hour, based on experience

Incentives: Performance-based bonuses and raise opportunities

**No health or dental benefits are offered at this time**

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
