**Summary of Position**
To support leading linen management practices and customer experience, Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service is currently seeking a Full-time, Permanent Hospital based _**Linen Operations Coordinator**_ for one of our Northern Ontario customers located in Sudbury.
**Job Overview**
In support of effective on-site linen management, the Linen Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the following key duties:
- Manage linen ordering integrity and optimization across multiple Hospital Departments
- Support a collaborative culture in partnership with our Hospital client
- Provide inventory management and accountability across the Hospital
- Manage customer relationships with Hospital Support Services and Clinical staff through proactive communication, daily rounding and client interaction
- Support linen quota change process with the Ecotex Director through cost analysis and Hospital approval protocols
- Ensure linen and laundry supplies are ordered and controlled in line with Hospital policies and procedures
- Support the continuous quality improvement plan and acceptable linen quality standards
- Identify opportunities to support improvement patient care through integration of smarter linen solutions
- Support the implementation of new product initiatives which advance high quality patient care
- Complete monthly and ad hoc linen reports to ensure appropriate utilization and decision making
- Complete quarterly customer service audits with the Ecotex Director and Hospital staff
- Participate in monthly account performance and priority reviews
- Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively
**Required Skills and Knowledge**
- Previous experience in healthcare linen operations or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills including ability to negotiate and build consensus
- Ability to exercise good judgement and sensitivity in dealing with hospital and staff information
- Solutions oriented with an innovative, forward-thinking perspective
- Ability to prioritize and successfully resolve issues with high sense of urgency and customer experience focus
- Strong attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to develop strong working relationship through appreciative inquiry and listen skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel as required
**Education**
- College Degree in Healthcare Environmental Services Management or combination of relevant industry and work experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience managing on site healthcare or other linen distribution services
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment an asset
- Previous experience with successful self directed leadership and customer service
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
