PhysioCare At Home helps older adults live healthy and fulfilling lives. We are a team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Kinesiologists with extensive experience in providing professional In-Home Physiotherapy & Kinesiology and education to older adults and their families. Due to the high demand for our services, we are looking for a dynamic **Registered** **Kinesiologist** to join our team in **Halifax (HRM).**

This is a mobile position where you will visit clients in their homes and/or retirement communities, helping them maintain functional fitness, mobility, balance and independence.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Create, implement, and carry out a 1 on 1 functional fitness exercise program.
- Lead dynamic and challenging group exercise classes for older adults.
- Complete electronic charting with outcomes and chart patient progress.
- Promote health, mobility, and independence within the patient's home.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with the PhysioCare at Home Team, including PTs, OTs, KINs, family members, and their allied health team.
- Coordinate special equipment requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Post secondary education in Kinesiology.
- Practicing Member and Registered with the Kinesiology Association of Nova Scotia.
- Geriatric/Neurological experience.
- Knowledge of public & private healthcare systems.
- Passion to serve seniors and ability to build a strong rapport with clients and their families.
- A desire for personal and professional growth.
- Valid drivers license and vehicle.
