We are a growing motorcoach bus company building our maintenance operations from the ground up. Focused on maintaining and expanding our fleet, we ensure reliability and safety for every journey. Our fleet includes **Freightliner M2 106/112 buses, Prevost X3-45 and H3-45 coaches, MCI J4500 and D4500 coaches, Ford Transits, and Ford F550/E450 Cutaways.** We perform **monthly Schedule 4 inspections, semi-annual inspections, and repairs**, ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards.

We are seeking a versatile and experienced **Truck & Coach Technician (310T)** to handle both hands-on mechanical work and administrative tasks while contributing to the setup and structure of our new shop.

**Position Summary**:
The **Truck & Coach Technician** will maintain and repair our motorcoach fleet, performing diagnostics, scheduled inspections, and repairs. Beyond technical skills, this role requires contributing to the administrative and operational setup of the maintenance shop. While the primary focus is on wrenching, additional expertise in **electrical systems, body repairs, and modern vehicle technology (e.g., Starlink and entertainment systems)** would be a strong asset. This position starts on-call or with limited hours, transitioning into part-time and eventually full-time as our fleet and workload grow.

**Key Responsibilities:Mechanical Duties**:

- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcoach buses, including **Freightliner, Prevost, MCI, Ford Transit, and Cutaway models**.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Conduct **monthly Schedule 4 inspections and semi-annual safety inspections** to meet regulatory compliance.
- Diagnose and repair modern electrical and entertainment systems, including Starlink.
- Manage and repair auxiliary systems such as heating, cooling, and onboard comfort features.
- Order and manage parts inventory for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and handle on-call repair requests.

**Administrative & Setup Tasks**:

- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and shop processes.
- Collaborate with the team to source equipment and plan the shop layout.
- Structure and maintain administrative systems for vehicle records and regulatory compliance.
- Provide input on tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for efficient operations.
- Support the organization and setup of shop workflows as operations expand.

**Qualifications**:

- **Certification**: Must hold a valid **310T Truck and Coach Technician license** (or equivalent).
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy vehicle repair, with knowledge of motorcoaches preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and modern vehicle technology (e.g., onboard Wi-Fi, entertainment systems).
- Experience with body repairs is an asset.
- Familiarity with inspection standards, particularly Schedule 4 and semi-annual inspections.
- **Team Player**: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and assist in structuring operations.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work on-call or limited hours, with the potential for expanded hours as the fleet grows.
- **Driver's License**: Valid driver’s license (Class 2 or equivalent is an asset).
