**Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR BOTH FRIDAYS AND THE WEEKEND.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will greet guests warmly, and ensure that they are seated promptly and comfortably. Your exceptional customer service skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests.
- Assist in training new staff on guest service protocols and restaurant policies.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with a positive attitude, striving to resolve issues effectively.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Knowledge of food service operations is beneficial but not required.
