First and foremost, our Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is the main source of support for the General Manager in our shops. They are responsible for ensuring each customer and team member in the shop is taken care of. Our ASM is the backbone of each Go Green shop, making everything tick operationally and from a customer service perspective, driving results while coaching the rest of the team to constantly improve the experience.

**Assistant Store Manager Qualifications**:

- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Pre-employment Criminal Record Check
- Must have CannSell certificate
- Minimum 2 years work experience in cannabis retail
- Work experience in Retail Management an asset
- Natural leader and excited to develop upon business acumen
- Team player and driven to excel
- Love of learning and growing your skill set
- Committed to delivering an exceptional customer service experience
- Maintains a positive collaborative working relationship with the team, support team and all vendors, LP reps and stakeholders
- Is available to assist in any emergency situations to provide support and guidance as needed
- Solution driven to overcome any, and all operational challenges that may arise
- Flexible availability to support the needs of the business
- Ability to troubleshoot and think clearly in times of high volume
- Desire and ability to develop a positive in-depth understanding of cannabis
- Ability to always interact with customers diplomatically and professionally
- Detail oriented
- Love of product and process management

**Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the General Manager in all aspects of the daily operations, from inventory management, staff management, merchandising and managing the client experience.
- Assisting with the development of new sales strategies to drive growth.
- Research new products in order to update inventory for both cannabis and accessories
- Recruiting, training, supervising and mentoring of employees.
- Ensuring staff is following store and company policies.
- Perform opening and/or closing duties
- Coordinate daily operations.
- Maintaining the store front for cleanliness, organization and stock.
- Use of POS system to complete sales and run daily reports
- Providing an exceptional experience, particularly when problem solving.
- Be the store’s representative and be an example for the rest of the staff

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Gloucester, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 3 years (required)
