The Kitchen supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

This includes but is not limited to the following roles and responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day running of the line
- Responsible for training new staff and to provide ongoing training to existing staff as required
- Responsible for scheduling kitchen staff and covering shifts as required
- Responsible for placing orders and inventory management of the kitchen
- Responsible for ensuring all stations are properly set up and stocked for service
- Responsible for the quality and consistency of food items
- Responsible for the timing and consistent execution of dishes
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Responsible for communicating any staffing, kitchen and food related issues, as well as equipment, health and safety, first aid issues to the General Manager in a timely manner
- Responsible for communicating daily run downs of service
- Experience in a leadership role
- Experience working in kitchens
- Strong communication skills
- Strong leadership skills (lead by example)
- Strong organizational skills
- Food handlers certificate
- WHMIS certificate
- Must be available to work daytime, evenings and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

- Hospitality: 1 year (required)

- Food Safety Certification (preferred)
