**Job Title**:Order Picker/Shipper

**Department**:Warehouse

**Reports to**:Warehouse Manager

**Summary Statement**:
This position selects customer orders and delivers it to the designated staging area in a manner that meets company standards on safety, security and productivity. It is responsible for completeness and accuracy of all orders selected and shipped. It requires good judgement and adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:None

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Selection of products using RF Scanner
- Pack and weigh any orders that require special handling
- Package finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Ensure no damaged product is sent out, and notify manager of damaged products immediately
- Ensure outbound shipments are accurate in quantities and shipping documentation
- Stage finished product for loading
- Load finished product onto trucks
- Unload product from trucks when required
- Move products to bin location and put away when required
- Assist with inventory count when necessary
- Occasionally work extra hours as business demands
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work environment
- Follow up internally regarding inventory as needed
- Create and maintain positive relationships with internal departments
- Other duties as assigned

**Minor Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Communicate and resolve issues with internal departments as needed

**Minimum Qualifications and Skills**:

- Valid forklift, reach, order picker, and MHE certificate
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklift, reach, order picker, MHE
- Ability to lift 80 - 100 lbs
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, speak)
- Excellent attention to detail for number and codes

**Assets**:

- Experience using RF scanner
